I am not quite sure, what you mean: the manager approves and once it is approved the traveler receives an email. If you want another person to inform that a trip request got approved the partner of the customer can implement an email notification BADI, which got released in R1402. There you can add receipients for estandard emails, that are sent out or it is possible to create a new email if a certain stage is triggered.
